“A coffee table-style work, whose chief purpose is the revelation of family photographs. Yet the ‘Duchess’ of Auriga manages to rise above these restraints because these mostly amateur-snapped shots evoke so nostalgically an era that can never be recaptured. Add to this the inescapable fact that the eponymous Duchess’, the late Ena Reseigh was, by any count, a singular character and you have a winning formula’ for any book.”
